This audio recording is a specially composed 20-minute stereo mix of the sound score for tranSTUM exhibition, The Turning - Whisper to the Silent Earth, Lane Cove Gallery, Sydney, 2022. The original sound score was a one-hour, tri-stream, multi-locational audio piece composed for each of the works in the exhibition. It can purchased as three audio tracks on request.

Artist Statement
The sound score for The Turning: Whisper to the Silent Earth focused on creating a dialogue in musical sound between each of the artist's works, and the spaces they inhabited. It borrows ideas from choral antiphony, in which alternating voices interact from different locations in a cathedral. The original sound score comprised three stereo sound streams, placed around the three key works in the gallery. This placement of sound enabled unique variations of serendipitous and immersive audio-visual experiences between the works, allowing new confluences of light, refraction, animation, image, and sound to reflect the liminal worlds evoked in the works, and each subsequent experience of the exhibition. Multilocational audio is a central feature of my practice, and The Turning: Whisper to the Silent Earth enabled me to explore these concepts in new and engaging ways.
